New Book Concept

The art of book making is ancient but new technologies yield exciting possibilities in this realm. I have little experience in the digital illustration area but as a child I had a big imagination and wrote my first book at eight years old. Every book I read served to fuel my day dreaming. Day dreaming could then be considered an asset if it fuels your passion. I love books and children's books are the most intriguing of them all to me. This new concept may or may not work, but overall it,s all in great fun.

A Rose Is But A Rose

It feels so good to create something, even if that thing you created has no real resemblance to it's real life inspiration, it still may work. Someone once said: "A Rose is still a rose by any other name" I think that is about right.

Work

A recent transplant to Berlin, more time on my hands than I know what to do with. At the moment I cannot speak German so creative outlets are an big interest to me. In Berlin it is said winter can prove to be a harsh time of year, the weather can drop to 25 below Celsius, erm... I grew up in California and don't know if I can cope with the drastic change, that said work helps.

There are tons of photographers out there. I really tried to resist the urge to become a photog-wannbe, really I tried... However I have been playing around with my camera lately and it feels so good. Don't get me wrong I still suck, but a girl can get lucky, can't she?
